*It is a bright and early morning, and Annette, the girl who was last seen talking to Stanley, is again talking to Stanley. Both of them are at the harbour of New York, the ocean in the background.*
It sure was nice of you to show me the harbour at this time! I never saw the sunrise over the ocean before!
Thank you.
*Annette is clutching something in her hand. Stanley notices.*
Say, what's that you have there?
*Annette jumps a little.*
Oh, this?
*She opens her hand, revealing a glass bracelet.*
This... this is a present from my grandmother. She gave it to me when I was nine for my birthday.
She must be a very nice lady.
*Annette nods.* She is. I often carry it with me. It, well, it reminds me of her.
*But before either of them can say anything else, screams erupt from behind them. Alarmed, they both turn around.
Bad Trolls are marauding around the streets, kicking things, tearing up pavement, throwing things at people, and generally wrecking the place and making a menace of themselves. Two particularly big Trolls are in the middle of the horde, they are barking orders at the other Bad Trolls.*
Come on, step it up! Make more people panic! This goes for you too, Boulderbutter!
*The aforementioned Troll responds.*
Sure thing, Blisterboil.
*Stanley grabs Annette's free hand.*
Come on! You've got to hide; these are Bad Trolls!
Why are they doing this?
*Annette's question would not be answered for now. Both her and Stanley run for a secluded alleyway, and then enter. Unfortunately, a Bad Troll has followed them in. He snatches the bracelet from Annette, throws it on the ground, and stomps on it. While Annette is standing there in shock, Stanley steps in front of her.*
No!
That, that wasn't very nice - whoa!
*Sneering, the Bad Troll pciks up Stanley and starts dangling him. In a panic, he flails and accidentally tags the Bad Troll with the Green Thumb. A vine wraps around the surprised Bad Troll (surprised enough to drop Stanley) and flings him HARD out of the alleyway. Both Annettte and Stanley are rather dumbfounded by this development, but then their attention turns to the shattered bracelet. Annette picks it up, sorrow in her eyes, but then Stanley perks up.*
I can fix a boat. Let me fix your bracelet!
You can do that?
*Stanley applies his Thumb to the pieces of the bracelet, and sure enough, it begins to ressemble itself befiore Annette's eyes. However, due to mysterious circumstances, the gixed bracelet doesn't look like how it was before.
No, this once plain bracelet is now a band of beautiful buckbeans, and one of the links is a small orb. Inside the orb is a glowing buckbean flower.*
What happened?
I, I don't know! I didn't want to fix it like this!
*The screaming outside continues.*
[OOC:All right, this is the beginning of Stanley's mutant Sailor Moon virus! There will be two threads started by me later on in this post: a boss fight against the Monster of the Day, and the aftermath. For now, feel free to engage the Bad Trolls and their leader, and the virus can provide the worldhop. <3]

Date: 2013-04-17 12:12 am (UTC)It's sad when it's the not-so-good guy that needs to talk sense into the supposed "hero", isn't it?
Date: 2013-04-17 12:48 am (UTC)Stanley still hates the idea of combat, but...*
I didn't fight when I had the choice, and bad things happened to me anyway. I... I really don't like having to hurt others, but, *Stanley gulps* I'll try not to be so wrapped up in what might happen. I'll try to actually do things.
*It'll be slow coming, but Stanley will become heroic yet.*
He kind of played the same role to Ed, only for killing instead of fighting in general.
Date: 2013-04-17 04:28 pm (UTC)Harsh truths, man.
Date: 2013-04-17 04:35 pm (UTC)I'm gonna do this...
I'm going to do it.
*It's half-hearted, but it's some improvement? Probably?*

Date: 2013-04-17 11:15 pm (UTC)At least, I hope I can defeat the bad guys.

Date: 2013-04-19 04:28 pm (UTC)I always thought that was Bad Troll stuff. *He sighs.* But now I might be wrong.
Flower Power, yo.
Date: 2013-04-19 04:41 pm (UTC)A ROSE OF BATTLE - wait
Date: 2013-04-19 05:05 pm (UTC)*Black and white? Therein lies the problems of being from a kid's movie. Something clicks.*
You are saying that good guys can fight and still be good, still be mostly white?
Rose of Versailles? Lady Stanley?
Date: 2013-04-19 06:33 pm (UTC)Blossom in hardship?
Date: 2013-04-19 07:53 pm (UTC)I'll do my best! Annette needs me!
Boss battle
Date: 2013-04-15 09:43 pm (UTC)Oh, how could I help? Do you see how many Bad Trolls are out there? We'd be crushed!
*Just then, a loud cry of "THEY'RE IN HERE!" resounds and a group of Bad Trolls start entering the alleyway and start advancing on the two.*
No, no! This is bad!
What do we do?
"There is nothing you can do, squirts."
*Annette holds her buckbean bracelet tightly.*
Stanley, use your plant thing!
How? *Stanley is not theb est at acting under pressure.*
I don't know! Just get some Calm Repose, I th-
*With the magic words said, the bracelet glows, and when the light fades Annette is replaced by a girl with slightly green skin, clad in five-point asterisk white flower petals that make up the majority of her costume. Her dress has bands of petals wrapped around it, and the dress is also completely white and full body one piece.
Her hair is a ponytail binded by buckbean flowers. Her boots are flat and flexible.
For a moment, everyone stares until the girl speaks up.*
I... I'm sure this is a surpise to me as it is to you, but for some reason I get the feeling that my name is now Composed Buckbean.
*Stanley keeps staring, but the Bad Trolls erupt in guffawing laughter. They keep laughing until Buckbean suddenly pulls a vine from seemingly out of nowhere and uses it to promptly launch every single Bad Troll out of the alley and into the horizon.
Stanley gawks.*
That was amazing!
Stanley... we need to stop what those trolls are doing. Please come with me.
***
*The view shifts to a street that is pretty much torn up. Both Blisterboil and Boulderbutter are watching their underlings do their thing while Blisterboil is holding out his hand. Some sort of black... fluid is flowing into a ball on his hand.*
At this rate, Gnorga will be unflowerfied in no time!
Then we can have some of those things?
*Boulderbutter points to a nearby hotdog stand, unattended of course.*
No, we won't.
Why not?
Because we'll be back in Troll Kingdom, imbecile, where there are no huamns around!
*Before Boulderbutter can complain, irony strikes as Bad Trolls suddenly go flying above the pair. After a surprised pause, said pair turn around to see Stanley and Composed Buckbean standing there, the magical girl having a vine out.
Well, Buckbean is standing. Stanley is cowering behind her.*
Stop this. These people have done you no harm.
*Blisterboil snorts.*
And give up all this entertainment? No thanks. I do have another underling here, though...
*He points to the hot dog stand.*
ARISE, AND LISTEN TO YOUR MASTER!
*The stand suddenly grows arms, legs, and an angry face. It leaps in front of Blisterboil and then shoots some streams of condiments at Buckbean and Stanley at high pressure. Buckbean grabs Stanley and the both of jump out of the way, but just barely.
Help them out, maybe?*
[Aftermath]
Date: 2013-04-16 01:18 am (UTC)Both Blisterboil and Boulderbutter have been watching, and so far their involvment has been a few potshots at Buckbean, who by now is getting more than a little tired of all this. She calls to Stanley.*
Can you please do something about the monster?
*Stanley has again turned on his thumb by accident, but is still flailing about.*
I, I can't -
*Buckbean has had enough of this. She grabs Stanley's Thumb and presses it to the ground.*
Make some vines, or bushes, or something!
*Almost as if on cue, vines immediately grow around the monster and wrap it tight, preventing any further movement. Both of the Bad Trolls pause, than Blisterboil growls.*
What are you doing! End them before I do the same to you!
*Alas, it was not to be. Buckbean steps up and holds her hands out like so. White light begins to collect in said hands.*
Tranquil Light!
*The ensuing eruption of brilliant pure light engulfs the monster, and the explosion at point of impact blows both Bad Trolls high into the sky.*
I'll get you for this!
I still wanted those treats!
SHUT UP ABOUT THE HUMAN FOOD!
*When the dust clears the monster has reverted to a normal hot dog stand again, and Buckbean reverts back to Annette. Stanley runs up and gives her a hug.*
You did it!
No, Stanley. We did it. But next time, try being more brave?
Gee, I just didn't want terrible things to happen.
Now, they won't because of us.
